Experience
- Marketing artist with 6+ years in the gaming industry, focused on mobile games, UA creatives, creative strategy, and performance-driven marketing. Dual degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design; background combines advertising, brand communication, mobile game marketing, and performance-led creative production.
- Currently freelancing as a marketing artist at a hypercasual and hybrid-casual mobile games publisher (remote, ~3 years), owning creative direction and production end to end. Covers creative strategy, brainstorming and ideation, data-driven ad creatives, playable ad concepts, gameplay hooks, misleading-style concepts, UGC, social video ads, ASO and store visuals, and performance-based creative iteration.
- Works across 6 to 10 titles at once at a fast production pace, while contributing beyond production by shaping creative direction, mentoring and supporting other artists when needed, and aligning creative output with UA, Product, Publishing, and Marketing goals.
- Title experience spans puzzle, hybrid-casual, hypercasual, word, idle, merge, strategy, and casual games, across both the wider publisher portfolio and specific flagship titles. Works on both new titles and long-running flagship games, helping keep creative performance fresh through new hooks, UGC angles, gameplay-style creatives, visual reinvention, and continuous iteration.
- Runs a weekly creative cadence: presenting the previous week's results, sharing improvement ideas, and contributing to mid-week brainstorms with fresh market references and new creative angles. Uses CTR, IPM, CPI, retention signals, META UA test results, and creative performance data to steer iterations and improve campaign outcomes.
- Known for speed, ownership, and calm execution under tight deadlines, without losing sight of creative quality or performance goals.
- Earlier games experience includes another mobile games publisher (store visuals, ASO assets, Facebook and TikTok ad creatives). Before moving fully into games, worked in marketing and social-content roles at a Swedish app company and a creative agency, building strong foundations in brand communication, content production, and visual storytelling.
- Toolset: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Unity, MidJourney, Runway, Veo, Seedance, and UGC/AI workflow tools. Uses AI to speed up ideation, asset generation, visual exploration, creative testing, and production workflows.
- Completed the McKinsey Forward Program (problem-solving, communication, adaptability, leadership, and digital and business skills). Also an industry conference speaker, having delivered a solo talk at a gaming conference in 2023 on UA strategies and how prototypes can be evaluated and optimised from a UA creative perspective.
Motivations
Looking to relocate, ideally to a European or UK-based company. Happy to cover her own relocation and open to English-speaking roles. Open to both games and consumer apps, particularly roles where creative strategy, performance marketing, visual storytelling, and hands-on production intersect. Open to both start-ups and larger companies, with a preference for larger companies for broader experience, structure, and long-term stability.
Recruiter notes
A fast, versatile UA creative who owns the full pipeline: strategy and ideation through production and performance reading, across 6 to 10 live titles at once. The mix of hands-on craft (After Effects, Premiere, Unity) with data literacy (META test reading, CTR/IPM/CPI, A/B testing) is exactly what performance-led studios want in a marketing artist.
Comfortable keeping tired games alive: her work on long-running flagship titles (new hooks, UGC angles, visual reinvention) shows she can find fresh performance in mature products, not only launch-shiny ones, and she steps up beyond production into creative direction and mentoring.
